Indian app Hike Messenger on Tuesday said that multiple Silicon Valley veterans, including Quora CEO Adam D’Angelo, Dropbox VP Aditya Agarwal and wordpress co-founder Matt Mullenweg, have invested in the app. Hike currently has a user base of 70 million. It will glad to see Indian companies will attract foreign countries CEO and this will become a new start-up for India.
Hike messenger, internet based cross platform instant messaging service, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Silicon Valley. Launched in December 2012, hike has acquired 70 million users and transacts over 300 billion messages per month. The messaging app also tied up with brands like PepsiCo, Amazon, Unilever, and among others.
